HIA’s October 11, 2008 Agenda

-- 08:30 AM --

Stock Market SIG: Jeff Friedberg has again agreed to lead the discussion this month. The topic he was planning to discuss in September was going to be "Differentiating Companies on the Basis of Management Techniques." This month he'll talk about the financial crisis we're currently in and how he thinks we should deal with it as investors. Jeff's talks are always worth hearing, and this one sounds like it might be even more educational than usual.

Derivatives / Advanced Options SIG: James McWilliams will lead a general discussion.

Trading 101 SIG: John Godell and Ron Stockstill will again look at the non-linear market thru the Chaos Attractors.  We will calculate the Estimated Fair Value

of the S&P and look at the yield curve.  You will be asked for your summary observations regarding the market trend and if it will continue.
